Technical developments in he manufacture of late model vehicles demand lubricants that are subject to ever increasing specification levels by the industry and manufacturers. To protect their investments and new vehicle warranty, manufacturers are demanding that products put into their vehicles are either

Full Zinc - Also Protecting your engine

Zinc is the anti wear additive used in most engine oils that minimises wear by protecting against metal on metal contact, prolonging engine life.

Extra-Ten Extra Special, Extra Protection

What exactly is Penrite's Extra Ten ?

For over 40 years Penrite has been formulating engine oils for the unique Australasian conditions. A philosophy of the formulations has been captured by the "Extra Ten".

Put simply, if the SAE industry recommends a 10W-40 viscosity grade, Penrite makes a 10W-50 (ie : HPR 10).

This means the Extra Ten in the oils heat range provides
1) Better oil film strength
2) Less friction
3) Less heat
4) Better heat transfer
5) Better oil pressure
6) Reduced oil consumption
