Diesel FX is a premium quality, mineral, SAE 15W-40, mid ash, Full Zinc, diesel engine oil formulated with high quality additives and hydrocracked mineral base oils. It is designed predominantly for use in four stroke heavy duty diesel engines. It exceeds the requirements of API CI-4 PLUS/SL and ACEA A3/B3/E7.
Diesel FX is designed for use in 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi cam, naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged common rail & direct injection diesel engines.
Diesel FX is designed predominantly for use in four stroke heavy duty diesel engines. It can be used in both turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines in on and off-highway applications, high speed and some medium speed diesel engines used in marine environments as well as for generator sets and agricultural equipment.
Diesel FX exceeds the requirements of API CI-4 PLUS/SL and ACEA A3/B3/E7. It is ideal for use in mixed fleets on heavy duty vehicles where API CI-4 PLUS or lower and ACEA E7/E5 is specified by the manufacturer. The strong API and ACEA light duty (A3/B3) performance makes Diesel FX suitable for use in light duty petrol and diesel engines, including those from Europe. Not recommended for diesel vehicles fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter).
NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
