Mick Dwinger Motorsport races in Top Bike, formerly known as Top Fuel Motorcycle.
Mick Dwinger has an extensive history in motorsports starting out in 1980 racing grand prix motorcycles in the Swann series including racing at Bathurst.
In recent years Mick Dwinger Motorsport has campaigned in Modified Bike, Competition Bike and has now progressed to the Top Bike class.
The current bike being raced is a Koneig Pro Mod motorcycle which was raced in America by Jeff House. The bike has an extensive racing history breaking many track records in running 4.14 seconds over the eighth mile @ 175 mph and 6.56 seconds over the quarter mile @ 201.25 mph. The bike was imported into Australia by Dwinger Motorsport in early 2016.
The Dwinger Motorsport bike is 82 inches axle to axle of chrome moly construction with PMR wheels and carbon fibre panelling. The engine comprises of a Suzuki GS1000 with billet engine barrels machined out to 1640cc with a Vortex 2 cylinder head, titanium valve train, stroker crank and four 48mm Lectron magnesium flat slide carburettors feed by C16 VP Racing Fuel. The drive train is a billet Robinson five speed dogbox.
The engine is fed by two 2 ½ pound nitrous bottles which at 100% nitrous produces approximately 650 horse power which is controlled by a Pro Series 2 Progressive Nitrous Controller. This is managed by a Race Pack data logging system.
In 2018 the bike will be raced in the 400 Thunder Australian Professional Drag Racing Series. For more information see See www.400thunder.com.au
During the series the team will be supported the original owner of the bike Jeff House and Darian Guillroy the head tuner who will be travelling from America.

The leading bikes in the class are raced by Chris Matheson (sponsored by Redline Oils) and Adam Layton (sponsored by Gulf Western Oils) and these bikes are currently running in the mid six second bracket. Based on the performance of the Dwinger Motorsport bike we are confident of being competitive.
This series is televised by 7 Mate, Foxtel and OVO Mobile with up to an hour of bike coverage for each race meeting with updates appearing on the 400 Thunder website and social media channels. With Top Bike being the premier class of motorcycle racing and the competitiveness of our bike we believe we can provide Penrite oils with a high level of exposure.
Dwinger Motorsport is currently in the process of setting up a new social media presence to coincide with the series and our recent sponsorship by the Waterview function centre which is located in Bicentennial Park Sydney. Should we be successful in this application we can provide the updated details.
We understand and support the terms of being an Ambassador and undertake to obtain as much exposure for Penrite Oils in return for your support. In addition to the support provided by the Ambassador program we would also be happy to talk about further sponsorship support if available.
