My name is Hixson McInnes I am 10 years old from Cooma NSW. I love anything to do with bikes, I always give 110%. I have been racing motorbikes since I was 4 years old.
2017 season started early in the new year placing 1st at Coffs Harbour Stadium Cross in the 65cc class. I traveled to most states in the country competing in different series, with great results during the year finishing 2nd on the 65 and 3rd on the 85 at the Victorian State Motorcycle Championships. I finished 1st on the 65 and 2nd on the 85 at Oakdale Motorcycle Club.
I am coached by Cody Mackie and put in many hours both on and off the bike working on technique, fitness and strength.
Motorbikes are my passion, I hope that with the dedication and commitment that I give to the sport that one day I will make it as a pro rider.
Living in a small country town where help is limited means a lot of travel for both coaching and riding, however both myself and family are dedicated and committed in making this dream a reality.
2017 was my 1st season on the 85cc which showed good results. On both the 65 and the 85 I was able to be on the podium at many events.
2018 will see me race both the 65cc and 85cc classes riding in NSW, Victoria and Qld. I am hoping to qualify for the world titles to be held in Horsham Victoria in September.
Good sportsmanship is very important to me. I always ensure that I show respect and shake hands with everyone in all my races.
Penrite have been supporting me for a couple of years now and I am truly thankful for the support that they have given me. Looking forward to continuing this partnership in 2018.
